To be an organic raisin, the vineyard field must be free of chemicals, pesticides and herbicides for at least three consecutive growing periods. A third party Certification Company must inspect and monitor the organic grower producing the organic product and the company who processes the organic product. National Raisin Company is dual certified by Farm Verified Organic (FVO) and California Certified Organic Farmers (CCOF). These two certification entities verify that all organic regulations are adhered within our Company's organic program.
Bonner Organic Raisins are free of any foreign chemicals in accordance with the regulations set forth by the FDA and under the limitations of the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
We perform soil sampling on all our organic farmlands and residue testing is conducted on all incoming truckloads of organic raisins to ensure all Bonner organic raisins are chemical free.
